Flash mob on Aitmatov's work held in Bishkek - “90 Questions about the Writer”

Bishkek, Dec. 13, 2018. /Kabar/. Students and schoolchildren in the city proved that Chyngyz Aitmatov’s work is popular among the current generation.

In Bishkek, the State Agency for Youth, Physical Education and Sports had organized a flashmob “90 Questions about Aitmatov”, which started with a video about the writer.

The event was attended by Director of the State Agency Kanat Amankulov. He noted that not only in Kyrgyzstan, but also in many countries of the world, yesterday, December 12, the birthday of Aitmatov was celebrated.

University students, schoolchildren and visitors the shopping center took part in the quiz. They were active, answering all questions quickly and easily.

“It was gratifying to see that the younger generation not only reads the works of Aitmatov, but is also interested in his biography. After the quiz, participants enthusiastically recited poems dedicated to the national writer and monologues from his works,” the agency stressed.

The hosts were the Jarayt City (TV show) residents Nursultan Kursanali uulu and Myktybek Mukayev.
