Although the coronavirus pandemic has forced a massive increase in mail-in voting, there are still many Florida residents who are planning to go the more traditional route of voting in-person.
Those planning to vote in the November 3 elections are urged to cast their ballots early. Early voting in Florida begins October 19 to November 1, with sites open from 7 AM to 7 PM each day.
When going to vote esnure that you bring a valid photo ID with your signature. Acceptable forms of ID include your Florida driver’s license, US passport; debit or credit card; military ID or student ID. If your photo ID does not include your signature, you will be asked to provide another ID that has your signature.
For voters without ID: If you are unable to provide ID, you will be able to vote a provisional ballot. Your ballot will count if the signature on your ballot matches the signature on your voter registration record.
For voters who requested a mail-in ballot but don’t want to send it it, you can drop off your ballot at any early voting location. Each location will have a secure drop box for voters who have voted their Vote-by-Mail ballot.
