Get your votes in for the top boys basketball performers of the week by 7 p.m. on Thursday. Here is a look at the nominees for the week of Jan. 18-23.

Brooks Barnhizer, Lafayette Jeff: The Northwestern recruit had 41 points, 16 rebounds and seven assists in a 78-61 win over Marion on Friday. Barnhizer is averaging a state-leading 35.0 points per game for the 13-1 Bronchos.

Aidan Booher, Plainfield: The 6-4 senior guard had 24 points on 8-for-14 shooting from the 3-point line in a 64-49 win over Mooresville and followed it with 13 points and three rebounds in a 71-48 win over Northview. Plainfield is 12-1 and riding a 10-game winning streak.

Vincent Brady, Cathedral: The senior guard and Air Force commit had 27 points, nine rebounds and six assists in an 85-64 win over Tindley on Saturday in the City tournament semifinals. Brady also had 12 points, five rebounds, three steals and three assists in a 76-38 win over Bishop Chatard in the quarterfinal round.

Jayden Brewer, Ben Davis: The senior guard played his first two games of the season after he was granted a temporary injunction to play varsity basketball and recorded 16 points, four assists and three rebounds in a three-point loss to Center Grove and had 19 points, four rebounds and four assists in a win over Decatur Central.

Stephen Douglas, Richmond: The sophomore had 30 points, 12 rebounds, four blocked shots and three assists in a 72-58 victory over Pendleton Heights on Saturday. Douglas was 11-for-15 from the field, including a pair of 3-pointers, and 6-for-8 from the free-throw line.

Landon Gause, Lakeland Christian: Gause, a junior, put up 30 points for Class A Lakeland Christian in a tough 82-79 overtime loss to 3A Lakeland.

Owen Guest, Chesterton: The 6-3 sophomore had 13 points and five assists in a 46-38 win over, hitting four 3-pointers, and had a team-high 13 points in a 61-49 loss to South Bend Adams.

Lincoln Hale, Linton-Stockton: The 6-4 senior, an Indiana State recruit, went for 48 points in a 97-68 win over South Decatur. Hale set a school record that was set in 1974 and also had 10 rebounds and five assists in the win.

Tyler Fessel, Corydon Central: Fessel, a sophomore guard, had 23 points in a 76-61 win at Salem and tied a 44-year-old school record with 40 points in an 89-84 loss at Charlestown on Saturday.

Tayven Jackson, Center Grove: The junior averaged 17.0 points, 7.0 rebounds and 5.0 assists as Center Grove knocked off Ben Davis and Roncalli extend its winning streak to six games. Jackson, one of the top junior quarterback prospects in the Midwest, also picked up football offers from Arkansas, Florida State, Georgia Tech, Michigan, Nebraska, Oregon, USC and Washington State – just last week.

Colson Montgomery, Southridge: Montgomery, an Indiana baseball recruit, put up 38 points in 61-59 loss to Greensburg on Saturday, a night after scoring 22 points in a 48-46 loss to Heritage Hills.

Keilyn Moore, Avon: Moore, a sophomore, shot a blistering 9-for-9 from the 3-point line and finished with 27 points as Avon knocked off Mooresville 73-72 on a last-second shot by Mitch O’Mara.

Blake Sisley, Heritage Hills: The 6-9 Evansville recruit had 20 points in a 48-46 win over Southridge and had 22 points and seven rebounds in a 59-35 loss to Barr-Reeve.

Jayden Taylor, Perry Meridian: The Butler recruit had 22 points in a 58-34 loss to Carmel, then had 33 points, six rebounds and three steals in a 61-50 win over Martinsville and 25 points, eight rebounds, five assists and five steals in a 46-33 win over Columbus North.

Brody Whitaker, Greencastle: The senior had a big week with 28 points, six steals, five rebounds and three assists in a 69-43 win over South Vermillion and 33 points, 13 rebounds and four steals in a 64-56 win over Danville.
