Razorback basketball 2021-2022 non-conference schedule revealed
In the third year under head coach Eric Musselman, the Hardwood Hogs will play 13 non-conference games with nine at Bud Walton Arena.
The season begins on Nov. 9 when the University of Arkansas welcomes Mercer University. In late November, the Razorbacks will travel to Kansas City to play in the Hall of Fame Classic.
Arkansas and the University of Central Arkansas will play for the second time since 1947 and eighth overall. The Hogs will also face Little Rock for the first official time. The University of Arkansas at Little Rock and the University of Arkansas played in 2018 for an exhibition contest to mark the unveiling of the Nolan Richardson Court at Bud Walton Arena.
Additionally, in December, Arkansas will play at Simmons Bank Arena in North Little Rock to face Hofstra University.
The final non-conference game of 2021 will post Arkansas against Elon, while the final non-conference game of the season will be on Jan. 29 against West Virginia as part of the SEC/Big 12 Challenge.
Last season, Arkansas made its first trip to the Elite 8 since 1995 before falling to eventual National Champion Baylor.
