How do you know what a T-Rex looks like? Fossils! Discover why Maine doesn’t have a T-rex fossil but does have a rare, six-foot, 390-million-year-old plant named Pertica as our official state fossil. Could a Wooly Mammoth have lived in your backyard? Hear about the woman who discovered Pterodactyls and something rude that she was not supposed to talk about! CPR Certification, 3/25, 6-8 p.m., $70
The CPR class includes adult, child, and infant CPR and AED use, adult, child, and infant choking, and how and when to call emergency services. The course cost includes the use of the manikins, video, certified instructor, practical components, and a certificate of completion. The video portion has been shortened, and the practical time has been increased to ensure everyone has enough time to gain confidence in their skills.
