Beth Cadorette named next principal of Main Street School in Exeter

EXETER — Main Street School Assistant Principal Beth Cadorette has been named the next principal of the elementary school, starting July 1.

“I am honored to take on this new role at Main Street School,” said Cadorette. “I look forward to building upon the school's strengths and working with the staff, students, and families to create a learning environment where all children can thrive and reach their fullest potential. Together, we will continue to focus on student-centered practices, collaboration, and academic excellence.”

Cadorette replaces Tonja Neve, who has been named the new principal of Exeter High School.

In making the announcement, SAU 16 Superintendent Esther Asbell stated that Cadorette "brings a wealth of experience, a results-driven mindset, and a dedication to fostering a collaborative, positive school culture that will continue to support and enrich the learning environment at Main Street School."

Cadorette holds a Certificate of Advanced Graduate Studies in educational leadership from Plymouth State University and a Master of Education in educational leadership.

She has served as assistant principal at Main Street School for the last 14 years. At the school, Cadorette has overseen over 100 staff members, played a pivotal role in implementing a Multi-Tiered System of Supports, and actively contributed to curriculum development and professional growth programs.

Cadorette has experience as a classroom teacher and has specialized certifications in special education and elementary education. Her professional development includes training in areas such as competency-based education, crisis prevention, leadership coaching, and behavioral intervention.

"Her extensive experience and leadership expertise position Beth as an ideal fit to lead Main Street School into its next phase of success, ensuring that students continue to receive a high-quality education in a safe, supportive, and inspiring environment," said Asbell.

Cadorette is a member of several professional organizations, including the Association for Supervision and Curriculum Development and the New Hampshire Association of School Principals.
