The Todor Kableshkov University of Transport and Vero Digital Solutions Ltd signed here on Monday a framework agreement to develop cooperation in the field of digitalization of the railway transport process, the University announced. Its Rector, Prof. Krasimir Krastanov, and the Executive Director of the company, Andre Vermeulen, agreed to work together on generating innovative solutions for the digitalization of train movement management and enhancing railway safety.

The plan includes the creation of a joint laboratory for developing software products aimed at the digitalization of railway transport and management of the related processes. These products will be offered to users in the railway industry in both Bulgaria and European Union countries.

Vero Digital Solutions is a company providing software solutions for business in areas such as process documentation, time tracking, project management, payroll, occupational safety, and industrial applications. It also develops modules based on a central programming interface (API) that allows integration with third-party systems.

The Todor Kableshkov University of Transport is the only specialized higher education institution of its kind in Europe, training professionals and conducting scientific research in all areas of railway transport. It educates specialists in the construction of railway lines, contact networks, and electrical supply for transport, communication systems, and safe railway movement management, as well as transport management and project management experts.
