Fourth-year students at Geisinger College of Health Sciences’ School of Medicine celebrated Match Day on Friday at the Scranton Cultural Center, where they learned where they will continue their postgraduate (residency) medical training. Match Day occurs simultaneously at medical colleges across the nation. Students gathered with their counterparts across the country to open their envelopes to see where they’ll spend the next four years.
