Donal Shirley, Offaly
An Offaly hurling star has been named on Higher Education Rising Stars Hurling Team of the Year.
Tubber Donal Shirely, who hurled with DCU in the Fitzgibbon Cup, was named in midfield on the prestigious team.
Donal's DCU side lost out in the final to the University of Limerick but the Offaly player was one of five DCU players to make the team. UL had seven players chosen with one each for UCC, MTU and the Garda College
The team in full is:
