Colorado Springs high school evacuated as crews contain fire

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KKTV) - The Colorado Springs Fire Department said they were responding to a small fire at Palmer High School at 2:48 p.m. on Thursday.
Crews said the high school was evacuated.
Crews contained the fire to a fan in the school’s medical room, and firefighters said the students would be let back inside soon.
N Weber Street was closed from East Boulder Street to East Platte Avenue for about 20 minutes as firefighters continued to work. Crews said the road has since reopened.
The Fire Department said they are investigating the cause of the fire.
