Prime Minister Anthony Albanese claims Labor will again “triple the incentive” for doctors to not charge a Medicare gap fee to “all 27 million Australians”.
“This is one of my government’s priorities, and what we did in last year’s budget was we tripled the bulk-billing incentive for doctors … for concession card holders … that resulted in a 90 per cent rate of bulk-billing,” Mr Albanese said.
