Young Vietnamese, Chinese border officers strengthen exchange

Deputy Foreign Minister Do Hung Viet proposed that Vietnam and Colombia step up high-level mutual visits, make full use of existing cooperation mechanisms, and foster linkages to create a favourable environment and framework for advancing economic ties.

The visit has contributed to strengthening political trust and providing guidance for the stable and healthy development of bilateral relations amidst the complex international and regional situations.

The PM praised the ADB’s role and contributions to Vietnam's socio-economic development over the past three decades, expressing his confidence that the ADB Vice President’s visit will contribute to deepening the cooperation between the two sides, particularly in the areas the Vietnamese Government is prioritising such as green transition, energy transition, and sustainable and inclusive infrastructure development.

National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man highlighted the fine friendship and cooperation between the two countries, built on the foundation of solidarity, and mutual support and respect, stating that the Vietnamese NA always supports and wishes to contribute to the relationship.

Ethiopian Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed Ali stressed that Vietnam has been a trustworthy friend of the Ethiopian people, expressing his impression on the country's comprehensive and great achievements in socioeconomic development and growing international standing.

Lao Prime Minister Sonexay Siphandone highlighted the significance of the event, saying that it reflects Vietnam’s proactive role and practical contributions to global efforts toward green growth, green transition, and sustainable development.

Amidst escalating global trade, Vietnam and Denmark should capitalise on all opportunities and potential to bolster collaboration in the areas where Denmark has strengths and Vietnam has priorities such as renewable energy, green energy, infrastructure, blue economy, and circular economy for mutual benefits, said Deputy PM Bui Thanh Son.

The summit is expected to adopt two key declarations: The Hanoi Declaration on Sustainable and People-Centred Green Transition and The Declaration on Strengthening Multilateral and Institutional Partnerships to Promote Green Transition and Sustainable Development.

PM Chinh expressed his confidence that the East Asian country will soon stabilise again and continue its robust development in the coming time, while affirming that the Vietnamese Government will maintain close cooperation with the new Korean government.

Vietnamese Party General Secretary To Lam’s article published in the People's Daily of China highlighted the strategic nature and historical depth of relations between the two countries.

State President Luong Cuong assessed that the two countries still have much room for cooperation, adding the two sides need to coordinate to promote effective and substantive implementation of cooperation areas, especially in politics, defence, security and economy, striving to soon achieve the target of 150 billion USD in bilateral trade by 2030 in a balanced and sustainable manner.
