At 9:15 a.m. on Saturday, the National Weather Service issued an updated winter weather advisory in effect until 2 p.m. for Delaware and Sullivan counties.
"Additional snow accumulations up to two inches over the higher elevations," can be expected according to the weather service. "The steady snow will taper off to showers and mix with rain in the valleys later this morning and early afternoon."
"Plan on slippery road conditions," explains the weather service. "Slow down and use caution while traveling. The latest road conditions for the state you are calling from can be obtained by calling 5 1 1."
