Sections of Osage Street closing Monday, through end of April, for construction study

AMARILLO, Texas (KVII) — Sections of Osage Street -- from 34th to 58th Avenue -- will be closed from Monday through end of April for a construction study.

A consultant will gather information about the physical and engineering properties of the ground, specifically soils and rocks. The geotechnical data will be used for the future design of the project.

Lane closures will be adjusted throughout the study.

Motorists are encouraged to watch for the changing lane closures and seek alternate routes.
