Man charged for Lynchburg business bomb threat

LYNCHBURG, Va. (WDBJ) - A man was charged after a bomb threat was made against a business Friday, April 11, according to Lynchburg Police.
The Lynchburg Emergency Communications Center received a report at 12:51 p.m. of a bomb threat at a business on the 0 block of Adams Street.
Police evacuated the property as a precaution while they searched, and they say no explosive device was found, saying the area was declared safe shortly after.
Divonta Jevel Vaughan, 24 of Madison Heights, was charged with threats to bomb a building. He is being held at the Lynchburg Adult Detention Center without bond.
Liberty University Police Department and the Nelson County Sheriff’s Office assisted with the case.
