CSI women's basketball top scorer Kennedy Gillette commits to Montana
TWIN FALLS, Idaho (KMVT/KSVT) — On Saturday, one of the mainstays of College of Southern Idaho Golden Eagles women’s basketball team over the last two seasons made her NCAA commitment.
CSI guard Kennedy Gillette committed to the University of Montana to continue her Division I basketball career.
Gillette led CSI with 14 points per game this past season to go along with 6.5 rebounds.
The Rexburg, Idaho native averaged nine points per game last season as a freshman off the bench and carved out a much larger role this season starting in 30 of 31 possible games.
Gillette had a 27-point double-double in late January against Colorado Northwestern Community College which was one of her best games as a Golden Eagles.
The Grizzlies will be getting a great player on both ends of the floor as CSI head coach Randy Rogers has some big shoes to fill in his starting five ahead of next season.
