STORRS, Conn. (WFSB) - Students across the country have had their visas revoked by the Trump administration.

On Monday, the federal government has terminated the visas of 13 students at UConn, according to university’s review of Student and Exchange Visitor Information System (SEVIS) records.

Those students who were impacted are based on the Storrs campus.

A spokesperson for UConn has confirmed 12 of the students affected are six undergraduates, six graduates and one who is an alumni but is in a post-graduate professional program.

UConn said they are trying to understand how this will impact students in terms of their academic and employment options.

The university is also providing those students with several legal resources.

UConn currently has about 3,450 international students which most are based at the Storrs campus.
