Evers and Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation announce small business grants
GREEN BAY, Wis. (WBAY) - Governor Tony Evers joined the Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation to announce $3.2 million in grants to help support small businesses across the state.
Over 400,000 of those dollars will continue programs in Fond du Lac, Kiel, and Ripon.
It’s part of the governor’s “small business development grants” program aimed at helping eligible businesses with affording building repairs, leases, and other expenses that can be barriers to growing a business.
“These investments we’re announcing today send a message that, here in Wisconsin, if you have a great business idea and the willingness to work hard to make it happen, our administration is here to support you and your good work. It’s that simple,” Governor Evers said.
