Rev. Elder Dr. Faalevao is Chancellor of Pasifika Communities University

Reverend Elder Dr. Leatulagi Faalevao has been elected as the First Chancellor of the Pasifika Communities University, formerly the Pacific Theological College, in Suva Fiji.

He was unanimously elected as Chancellor or Taumoana at the recent meeting of the Council of the Pacific Conference of Churches held in Kanana-fou.

An announcement says Rev. Elder Faalaveao brings with him a  vast experience of leadership, both in the national, regional, but also global ecumenical family such as the World Council of Churches. He is a former student of the Pacific Theological College, a theologian and an exceptional leader. He is currently the moderator of the Pacific Conference of Churches, and serves as  vice chairman of the Congregational Christian Church of American Samoa. The chancellor is a one-year rotational position among owner churches of the Pasifika Communities University.
