Thirty-two members of SHA’s class of 2019 earn IB diploma

Thirty-two members of the Sacred Heart Academy class of 2019 have earned an International Baccalaureate (IB) diploma awarded by the International Baccalaureate Organization based in Geneva, Switzerland.

According to a news release from the school, students earn an IB diploma by completing a rigorous curriculum of IB courses over two years, passing 25 hours of international exams, completing a minimum of 150 hours of CAS (creativity, action and service) and writing a 4,000-word essay.

All of Sacred Heart’s 2019 candidates earned the diploma, compared to 78 percent worldwide, the release said.

The recipients of these diplomas and the schools they plan to attend are:
