The Korey Johnson Foundation Giving Almost 1,000 New Items to Families Along With Free Advice -Saturday, March 10

The Law Office of Attorney Brandi Herndon-Miller and Writing Services by Char to Join Giveaway With Law and Job Preparation Advice

ST. LOUIS, MISSOURI, USA, March 6, 2018 /EINPresswire.com/ -- The Korey Johnson Foundation (www.koreyjfoundation.org) along with Korey’s Kids will be hosting its first Charity Pop Up on Saturday, March 10, 2018. The event will take place at William J. Harrison Education Center located at 3140 Cass Avenue, St. Louis, MO 12 p.m. – 3 p.m. The Foundation which has a mission to teach children to be philanthropist and build better communities, will have its youth involved in this service. Everyone is invited to attend.

The “pop up” event originated from an idea board member, Michael D. Francis, pitched to the Foundation’s president—Korey Johnson. Due to Johnson’s collaborations within the community, the Foundation is fortunate to receive items they have been able to give away periodically during the year. One of their last giveaways happened at their annual Can Skate Event in August 2017 for youth returning to school in the Fall. The idea of a “pop up” event is an effective way to reach a large portion of the community at one time.

The community can expect to see all new items given away, including: various clothing items, over 300 pairs of women and children shoes, over 500 bottles of laundry detergent, and prepackaged food to anyone in need. Attorney Brandi Herndon-Miller, who is also a board member, will be available to provide free family law consultations limited to: child custody, visitation, and child support. Additionally, Writing Services by Char will be providing free advice for resumes and how to prepare for an interview.

Additional sponsors for this event include: St. Louis Community College/William J. Harrison Education Center, The Chris Howard Group, and Hopscotch Communications – graphic design firm.
